Teach 2 Reach 2019

Our keynote speaker will be Utah's own Jessie Funk. Jessie has been teaching and mentoring students for over a decade. She holds a leadership certification from Notre Dame University and a degree in Psychology. She is the Executive Director of the Non-Profit organization, Ivy Girl Academy. She has authored six books and as a professional singer she has released five albums adding the dynamic element of music to her presentations. She loves to speak at school assemblies, leadership conferences and student events.

• Talk Saves Lives TM An Introduction to Suicide Prevention . A community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. • Survivor Panel Suicide Impacts Friends, Family & Community . Open discussion with those that have lived experience of the impact of suicide loss. Also hear about learning to live with hope past suicide loss or attempts. Panel will consist of BSP Survivors of Suicide group and community members.
